The Cherokee Marshal’s Office and Cherokee County Animal Shelter busted a puppy mill that has been operating since the 1980s. The animals were rescued from the awful place and were put up for adoption.
All the dogs were of different breeds and sizes, and included newborns. Many dogs were also pregnant, and had puppies right after being rescued. A year later, all the dogs showed up at the same place and had a massive, happy reunion with their new families!
The owners of the mill pleaded guilty to 25 charges of animal cruelty and were all sentenced to 25 years of probation. We’re just glad all the dogs were rescued and now have loving homes! Watch the video below on the horrible conditions they had to live in and how they were rescued!
