This Elephant Was Swept Out To Sea And Needed Help…

Elephants are good swimmers, since they can use their trunks as snorkels when underwater. However, for this elephant, who was swept all the way out to the ocean, human intervention was necessary.

The elephant was swept about 10 miles out to sea due to the strong currents. Unfortunately, elephants cannot swim for long periods of time, and salt water isn’t good for their skin. I’m just glad people who could help were there!
