Former Lancaster County Breeder Pleads Guilty To Cruelty Charge And Loses Dogs For 90 Days

A former dog breeder from Lancaster County pleaded guilty to providing inadequate medical care for a dog that was in his care.

The man, named Jacob Esh, was required to surrender 14 dogs that were in his possession as part of the agreement for his plea. He is also prohibited from owning any other dog for 90 days.

Also, his license to breed dogs was not renewed this year because of previous violations. The dog that caused this proceeding was diagnosed with a broken jaw as a result of untreated severe dental disease that required surgery and the treatments to correct the problem.

Fortunately, this man received the justice he truly deserved for not caring for the dogs! Hopefully he won’t be able to hurt another dog again.
