Kari Falla, a pet groomer in Florida, knew she could not simply wait until the next morning to work on this dog after she saw pictures on Facebook.

The puppy was found on the side of the road with severely matted hair. Matted hair in pets can cause blood flow to stop and can bruise the dog as well. Falla opened her doors at midnight so she could get to work on the dog right away.

It took her three whole hours and four baths to finally free Lucky, the dog, from all the hair. Then, the dog was sent off to the vet to get some much-needed healthcare.

Pictures don't even come close to showing how bad these mats were. They were soaking wet, infested with fleas, full of yeast infection and attached like a mummified cast. The smell was horrendous.

We can only imagine the amount of relief this baby is feeling after being relieved of all these painful mats! We knew it was an emergency as soon as we saw him!
