Minimum Outdoor Requirements Forces Dog Out In The Cold

This dog in Washington, D.C. was left out in subfreezing temperatures because of the minimum outdoor requirements required for pets.

The owner has been arrested (for an unrelated case), and the neighbors started to worry about the dog, and after monitoring the dog’s condition over the weekend, they saw that Momma, the nickname given to the dog, has been left outside for 72 hours.

The D.C.’s Humane Rescue Alliance could not do anything because the outdoor conditions met the bare minimum requirements for pets left outside. However, later on, the dog was led into the house by the owner. Hopefully the law can be amended so cases like these can be prevented in the future! Watch a video about Momma below!
