Dogs can sometimes be hard to care for, and expensive as well, especially when it comes to veterinarian bills. While we all know they’re 100% worth the cost, it can weigh you down, especially in times of urgency.
However, Devon Mathis, R-Visalia, an assemblyman for the state of California, has introduced a bill, if passed, would give pet owners a break on vaccinations, check-ups, surgeries, x-rays, prescriptions, and other medical expenses for their pets, up to $2,000.
If the bill passes, families would have an easier time providing the care their pets need, and it is also possible this could encourage some people to adopt more pets. What do you think about this new proposal?
