Officer Who Helped Rescue a Trapped Dog Ends Up Adopting It

A police officer from Frankfurt had rescued this stranded dog on more than one occasion.

Someone heard a dog barking at the bottom of a ravine last Wednesday, and the Frankfurt police and fire members came to the scene to find the dog over a cliff, trapped under a large tree.

Responders used ropes to climb down to rescue the dog and took the dog to a veterinarian to treat her for her injuries. Due to her medical issues and age, however, the shelter could not put the dog up for adoption. However, Lieutenant Lynn Aubrey, who was a first responder, has agreed to take her home! So, this dog got a happy ending in the end!
