Stolen Support Dog Returns Home After More Than a Month

1962

A support dog that alerts a local man before he goes into epileptic seizures has finally been returned home to St. Louis after missing for more than a month since October 4th.

Maddie warns her owner, Jamie Stitt, whenever he is about to have a seizure. The return happened when Karen Newman, Stitt’s caretaker and ex-wife, received a strange phone call.

After some questions, the caller said they believed they had the dog. The caller had found the dog in her daughter’s apartment, and that her daughter is in jail.

I am just glad that Maddie, the dog, was safely returned home where she provides a valuable service and love as well!
