Trial Against Man Accused Of Abusing Dog Set To Begin

A 35-year-old man from Massachusetts, named Radoslaw Czerkawski, is facing a dozen animal abuse charges and will face a jury trial this week.

Late in the summer of 2013, a pit bull puppy was found badly injured and abandoned alone in Quincy. The dog had a fractured skull, and a broken spine and multiple rib bones. Her tongue was split and was even stabbed in the right eye, and her skin had multiple burns and bruises.

The dog’s original owner, a woman, said she gave the dog away to a man on Craigslist after she moved to an apartment that didn’t allow pets. Law enforcement eventually tracked the man down.

The trial will begin Tuesday in Norfolk Superior Court, and is expected to draw large crowds of protestors. Hopefully he will receive the justice he truly deserves!
