Virginia Beach Man Charged After Dead Dog Discovered In Burning Garage

This man from Virginia Beach named Luke Alvarado Hill is being charged with shooting his dog and arson after the dead dog was found inside the burning garage.

Around 11:18 PM, fire crews responded to a residential fire, and found the fire in a detached garage behind the residency. The firefighters got the fire under control in 30 minutes, and that’s when they discovered a dead 7-year-old Brindle Pit Bull.

A necropsy was performed on the dog and it was discovered that the dog was shot twice and was alive when the fire broke out. Now, the 28-year-old man is being charged with shooting the dog and arson for the fire. Hopefully he’ll get the punishment he deserves!
